Who We Are
Women Forward in Tech was founded by professional women with a shared passion for empowering and uplifting women in the tech industry. As former advisory board members for Girls in Tech NYC, we spent years building community, running mentorship programs, and advocating for gender equity in tech. When the nonprofit we volunteered for shut down last year, we saw an opportunity to create something new—something that truly reflected our vision for a more inclusive, supportive, and forward-thinking tech space.
Women Forward in Tech is more than just a network; it’s a movement dedicated to fostering career growth, leadership, and meaningful connections among women in technology. Through mentorship, educational programs, and community-driven initiatives, we’re here to break barriers and help women thrive in an industry that still has a long way to go in terms of representation and equity.
